Creating self-made clothing or doing minor needed sewing repairs are lost arts.  Instead many pay a lot of money to a tailor or seamstress.  Understanding fabrics and their uses comes in handy with finding what looks best on each person with both color and style in mind. Sewing programs can be in groups or individually.  A complete sewn project - agreed upon by participants - will be made as technique, textiles, colors and fabrics as well as use and care are discussed.
